Alex Mould, a member of the biggest opposition party, NDC, has described President Akufo-Addo’s third address to Ghanaians on efforts made to contain the deadly Coronavirus as disappointing in a post.

President Akufo-Addo in his address that lasted for a few minutes on Saturday night announced the closure of all its borders to human traffic.

President Akufo-Addo further indicated that people who will enter the country prior to the said period will be tested and subjected to a mandatory quarantine period of fourteen days.

The President used the opportunity to declare Wednesday, March 25 as a day for fasting and Prayers against the deadly disease which has taken the life of a 54-year-old Lebanese businessman.

However, reacting to the address, Alex Mould, who has been tipped as a probable Running Mate for former President, John Dramni Mahama described the address as disappointing.

According to him, the President’s address wasn’t reassuring and that Ghanaians have been left on their own to suffer the brunt of the deadly virus.
